Jana Ortega is a highly respected Austin, Texas criminal defense attorney whose practice consists solely of defending those accused of a criminal offense.
She graduated from St. Mary's School of Law in 2003 with a Doctor of Juris Prudence.
In 2006, Jana's desire to help those in need led her to form her own firm, establishing herself in the city of Austin. In addition to the practice of law, Jana is committed to serving the community. She is currently Chair of the Hispanic Issues of the State Bar of Texas, and Chair of the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin's Charitable Foundation. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Austin Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Lawyer Referral Service of Central Texas.
